Dr. Ali Osseiran
Dr. Ali Osseiran is a behavioral scientist with more than a decade of experience in applied research focusing on decision-making, behavioral economics, and behavior change.
As a former VP and member of the inaugural team of Nudge Lebanon, Ali played a pivotal role in pioneering the application of behavioral insights to enhance policy design in the MENA region. He made significant contributions to critical policy areas ranging from health and education to financial inclusion, sustainability, and violence prevention. He also assisted various institutions integrate behavioral insights into their programs, including UNICEF, UNDP, ESCWA, Save the Children, and the Ministry of Public Health Lebanon.
Ali also served as a Project Manager for Nudge Lebanon’s Consumer Citizen Lab (CCL), where he contributed to building organizational capabilities, promoting a culture of experimentation, and extending the discipline of behavioral economics to universities in the Arab region.
Ali holds a PhD in Behavioral Economics, an MSc in Behavioral and Economic Science, and an MSc in Finance from the University of Warwick in the UK. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon.
